Last week saw the FSC General Assembly taking place in Vancouver. The FSC General Assembly takes place every 3 years, and is an opportunity for the FSC International Membership to come together to discuss the challenges and solutions of responsible forest management, and the future direction of the organisation.

The general assembly of FSC members is the highest FSC platform for decision-making.

You can find out what was discussed and the outcomes of this here.

This week Interface NRM has seen enquiries from the Decking and Automobile Industries, in Chesire and Norwich who wish to become FSC Certified.

If you are interested in finding out more about FSC Certification and how it can be of benefit to your company, one of our dedicated staff would be more than happy to assist you. We can be contacted on 01952 288325, you can initiate a live chat or you can complete our online enquiry form.

Any company that has already obtained a valid PEFC Logo Usage License can use the PEFC Label Generator. It is easy to use and its intuitive online tool generates PEFC labels in a matter of minutes. It provides you with everything you need to put a PEFC label on your products or promotional materials.

With the PEFC Label Generator you can customize your label to suit your requirements:

  • The label is currently available in over 25 languages.
  • Choose from green, black and white.
  • The label can be created with or without a border.
  • Portrait or landscape.
  • The term ‘This product is’ may be customised and be replaced with the product name or category.
  • The one-line label represents the smallest possible label option. Use is encouraged in cases where using the standard PEFC label would hamper readability.
  • Label name, label claim and website can be removed if they are unreadable or if placing them on a product is not feasible.

You can find out more about this on the PEFC website here.

Not currently PEFC certified but interested in finding out more about this? One of our dedicated team would be more than happy to help you with any questions you may have. We can be contacted on 01952 288325, you can initiate an online chat, or complete our online enquiry form.

This week we have received enquiries from the Bespoke Furniture and Consultancy industries in London and Cambridge who want to show that they are dedicated to promote sustainable forest management.
